Vintage actor William Smith appeared in almost 300 feature films and television shows during his lengthy acting career.  However, he may be best known as villainous “Anthony Falconetti” in the TV mini-series Rich Man. Poor Man and Rich Man, Poor Man Book II.  He was nominated for an Emmy for his performance in Rich Man, Poor Man Book II. Among Smith’s many film roles was “Jack Wilson”, Clint Eastwood’s adversary in Any Which Way You Can, and “Conan’s” father in Conan the Barbarian.
Tall (6’2”) dark, handsome, and well-built, Smith was the final “Marlboro Man” before cigarette ads were discontinued on television.

Jean-Paul Belmondo’s breakthrough role was as “Michel Poiccard” in the French film Breathless directed by Jean-Luc Godard. Most of the many films to feature Belmondo were made in France and were  mainly comedies and action films.  He did appear in the title role of director Alain Resnais’ film Stavisky.  The film was based on a true story concerning a 1934 political scandal referred to as the Stavisky Affair.  Many consider this to be Belmondo’s finest performance.

Vintage actor Rockmond Dunbar is best known as “Kenny Chadway” on the TV series Soul Food and as “Benjamin Miles ‘C-Note’ Franklin on Prison Break.  His film credits include Punks, All About You and Kiss Kiss Bang Bang.  Dunbar directed and played a role in the film Pastor Brown which was released in February of 2010.

Rod Taylor, a vintage actor able to play both light comedy and dramatic roles, starred as science fiction writer “H.G. Wells” in The Time Machine, and as “Mitch Brenner” in the Alfred Hitchcock film The Birds.  In addition to his work in films, Taylor also appeared in many television series episodes including Bearcats!, Outlaws and Walker, Texas Ranger.  Most recently he played “Winston Churchill” in the 2009 film Inglorious Basterds which starred Brad Pitt.

Vintage actor Kevin Sorbo sure has the body to play Hercules and he did.  In the early 1990s he starred in five made- for-TV movies such as Hercules and the Amazon Women, Hercules in the Underworld, and Hercules in the Maze of the Minotaur. The television series Hercules: The Legendary Journeys came next and ran for 111 episodes.  Sorbo’s other long running series was Andromeda in the role of “Captain Dylan Hunt”.  Sorbo recently completed the film Paradox, a sci-fi thriller based on the comic book series.
