Exotic, sensual Vincent Perez was born in Lausanne, Vaud, Switzerland. Most of his work has been in French films such as La Maison de Jade (The House of Jade) opposite Jacqueline Bisset, Le bossu, and Indochine with Catherine Deneuve. His breakthrough role was as the naïve, vacant lover “Christian” opposite Gerard Depardieu in Cyrano de Bergerac. Perez came to international attention as the title character “Ashe Corven” in The Crow” City of Los Angeles, and as “Marius de Romanus” in Queen of the Damned.
According to Vincent Perez, “Love is more and more important in our society because you’ll find it less and less.” A pretty sad observation on the state of the world.
