Extremely talented actor Daniel Day-Lewis has won two Best Actor Oscars for his performance as Christy Brown in My Left Foot and Daniel Plainview in There Will Be Blood.  He also won Bafta, Golden Globe and Screen Actors Guild award for There Will Be Blood. Other notable performances we as Tomas in The Unbearable Lightness of Being, Gerry Conlon in In the Name of the Father, Danny Flynn in The Boxer, Gangs of New York, and the musical drama Nine. Regardless of the fact that he is quoted as saying “I was a geek, a spaz.  I was horribly, painfully, terribly shy” there is no better or more well liked actor than Tom Hanks.  He is a five-time Oscar nominee winning two back-to-back; first for Philadelphia and and next for Forrest Gump. In addition he won a Saturn Award, three American Comedy Awards, four Emmy Awards, and five Golden Globe awards, just to name a few.  He has been is so many outstanding films and TV series, mini-series, and documentaries that the list seems almost endless. Some of them include Big, A League of Their Own, Sleepless in Seattle, Apollo 13, Toy Story (as the voice of Woody), Saving Pvt. Ryan, The Green Mile, and The Da Vinci Code
Watch for Tom Hanks in the upcoming film Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close.  Wouldn’t be surprising if his portrayal of Thomas Schell wins him another Oscar, or, at least, the nomination.

Early in his career, talented actor Kevin Kline, was a theater performer appearing in plays such as The Return of the Native, On the Twentieth Century (which won him a Tony Award) and The Pirates of Penzance. He moved to the big screen and appeared in countless films over the years.
