Hot singing sensation in the mid-1980s, vintage actor played “Christopher Donlon” on the award winning musical drama Fame.  He also played a singing hopeful, “Emilio Ramirez” on Days of Our Lives from 1988 to 1991.  Hufsey so impressed the soap’s producers that they had him write and perform several songs for the show including I’ll Be There and Only This Time.

Although Lloyd Bridges appeared in more than 200 films and television shows he will always be remembered as “Mike Nelson” on the four season run of Sea Hunt.  After the end of Sea Hunt Bridges continued to appear in episodes of dozens of TV series and showed his comedic talent as “Steve McCroskey” in Airplane and Airplane II: The Sequel.

Huey Lewis formed the band Huey Lewis and the News in 1979.  Original band members were Lewis, Sean Hopper, Bill Gibson, Johnny Colla, Mario Cipolina and Chris Hayes.  Some of their top singles were Do You Believe in Love, I Want a New Drug, The Power of Love, She’s Some Kind of Wonderful and Little Bitty Pretty One.   Although the band members have changed over the years Huey Lewis and the News are still performing.

Although he became a cultural icon James Dean made only three films during his tragically short career.  First was Rebel Without a Cause, the movie which made him a star.  Next came East of Eden which won Dean an Oscar for Best Actor in a Leading Role.  It was the first posthumous award in the history of the Academy Awards.  His last film was Giant and he received the second consecutive Best Actor nomination for Best Actor.

Jones played the title role in the 1980 film Flash Gordon.  He also played a small part in the short-lived 2007 series Flash Gordon.  Jones played “The Highway Man” in the series by the same name and “Chris Rorchek” in Code Red which starred actors Loren Greene and Andrew Stevens.
