Shirtless Roger Moore wondering who might be joining him

Sir Roger George Moore, James Bond II, was born in Stockwell, London, England.  He began as a model for men’s knitwear for which he won the nickname The Big Knit.  His worldwide fame came when he was cast as “Simon Templar” in The Saint. Moore’s next big break came when he replaced Sean Connery in the role of “James Bond”.  He appeared in seven “Bond” movies:  Live and Let Die, The Man with the Golden Gun, The Spy Who Loved Me, Moonraker, For Your Eyes Only, Octopussy, and A View to Kill. He has been the actor to play the role of James Bond the longest to date and was the oldest at 45 when he began.  He was 58 when he made the last Bond film.  Moore’s career after “Bond” became somewhat diminished.  He played opposite Michael Caine in the comedy film Bullseye and another comedy film titled Bed and Breakfast with Talia Shire.
Roger Moore played “James Bond” in a more light-hearted way than Sean Connery who played the role as a focused, determined agent.  He is quoted as saying, “I like Bond.  But it’s silly to take it seriously.  It’s just a great big comic strip.”
