Great Look For Harrison Ford! Shirtless in Speedos!!
From American Grafitti to Star Wars, Apocalypse Now, Raiders of the Lost Ark, Witness, The Fugitive, and great films too numerous to list, Harrison Ford has proved he can play a broad range of characters and play them exceedingly well. He is a hot, sexy mega star.
Yes, Virginia, there was Tom Selleck before Magnum, PI. He actually made appearances on a couple dozen television series episodes, but he really hit the big time when he landed the role of “Thomas Sullivan Magnum III”. Sexy looking with a boyish side and a really hot car, living in Hawaii, chasing bad guys, and romancing beautiful women, Magnum was the coolest of the cool.
After Magnum PI Selleck continued to land parts in popular, successful films like 3 Men and a Baby, Quigley Down Under, and as “Jesse Stone” in the television movies based on the novels of Robert B. Parker. And, of course, there were his appearances on Friends as “Dr. Richard Brooke” Monica’s one time love interest.
A magnum cartridge is one that is equipped with a larger charge than other cartridges of the same size. The same could be said of Tom Selleck.

Bruce Springsteen says, “When I was growing up there were two things that were unpopular in my house. One was me, and the other was my guitar.” Bet that’s changed now!

Next came East of Eden which won Dean an Oscar for Best Actor in a Leading Role. It was the first posthumous award in the history of the Academy Awards. His last film was Giant and he received the second consecutive Best Actor nomination for Best Actor.
