Shirtless Hulk is a real hunk

Louis Jude Ferrigno was born in Brooklyn, NY and began body building at age 13.  Bodybuilder/actor Steve Reeves was one of his role models.  Ferrigno’s attempt to beat Arnold Schwarzenegger in the Mr. Olympia competition was the subject of the documentary Pumping Iron.
Landing the role of “The Incredible Hulk”, alter-ego of “Dr. David Bruce Banner” played by Bill Bixby, brought Ferrigno to the attention of the general public.  The show ran for 5 seasons and gave rise to three Incredible Hulk television movies and an animated series in which Ferrigno did the voice of “The Hulk”.
Here’s an interesting piece of trivis:  The snarls and growls heard coming from “The Hulk” weren’t made by Lou Ferrigno.  For the first two seasons, Ted Cassidy (“Lurch” on The Adams Family) made the sounds.  After Cassidy’s death, the credit goes to Charles Napier for the remaining seasons the the three “hulk” movies.

Shirtless Robert Conrad Suitably Sexy

RobertConrad

A shirtless Robert Conrad seems to be asking: “Is there a problem”?  No.  Not for us!

Robert Conrad, whose birth name was Konrad Robert Falkowski, was born in Chicago, IL.  He may be best known as the character “James T. West” on the television series The Wild  Wild West. Conrad did most of his own stunt work on the show, and while performing a stunt, he slipped and fell head first onto a concrete floor 12 feet below.  His recuperation took so long it delayed the show’s production for almost three months.
Robert Conrad is also well know for his role as “Maj. Greg ‘Pappy’ Boyington” on the series Baa Baa Black Sheep.  In addition to working in TV series, he has appeared in many made-for television movies including Five Desperate Women,  The Wild Wild West Revisited, More Wild Wild West, Glory Days, and the mini-series Centennial.
Robert Conrad was married to his first wife when they were both teenagers, eloping and living under an assumed name so their parents wouldn’t be able to find them.  They finally let their parents know about the marriage when his wife became pregnant thinking that it would be too late for the marriage to be annulled.  When asked how he would feel if his daughter was to marry as a teenager he replied;  “If some sixteen-year-old punk were to come to me and say, ‘Sir, I want to marry your daughter,’ I’d say ‘Fine’ and escort him to an analyst.  The average boy that age isn’t remotely capable-from any point of view, including the emotional-of supporting a family.”  That certainly sounds like the outspoken Robert Conrad we all know!

Tyrone Power Bound and Shirtless

TyronePower the black swan

Tyrone Power tied up in a scene from The Black Swan.

Tyrone Edmund Power, Jr., born in Cincinnati, OH, was famous for playing “swashbuckler” roles in films such as The Mark of Zorro, Blood and Sand, The Black Swan, Prince of Foxes, The Black Rose and Captain from Castile.
He actually hated the romantic, swashbuckling roles and wanted to do films and plays that had something to say.  He did appear in leading roles in more substantial films such as the Academy Award nominated This Above All, as famous pianist and band leader Eddy Duchin in The Eddy Duchin Story, opposite Ava Gardner, in The Sun Also Rises, based on Ernest Hemingway’s novel.  Tragically, halfway through the shooting of Solomon and Sheba, Tyrone Power collapsed during a dueling scene and died of a heart attack.  He was 44.
”I’ve done a lot of stuff that is a monument to public patience” said Tyrone Power. On the other hand,  you also did a lot of stuff that was a monument to public entertainment

Bruce Willis Nude in the Shower

Bruce Willis wearing only a watch and a shower cap.  How delightful!

See Naked Male Stars Here

Walter Bruce Willis was born in Idar-Oberstein, West Germany to a German mother and a father in the American military.  His father moved the family back to the US in 1957.
We all know Bruce Willis as “David Addison” from his days on the television series Moonlighting, as “Officer John McClane” in the Die Hard Series, “Dr. Malcolm Crowe” in the Sixth Sense and numerous other great films.  But you may not know that in high school  Willis developed a stutter.  He found that he could express himself on stage and lose the stutter.  What started out as a handicap ended up as a brilliant acting career .  He has won two Emmy Awards, one Golden Globe Award and been nominated for four Saturn Awards
According to Bruce Willis:  “You can’t undo the past…but you can certainly not repeat it.”  That is unless you want to repeat more award winning performances in very entertaining movies!  We would certainly be just fine with that.

Gregory Harrison lookin’ too sexy in his teeny Zkini

Gregory Neale Harrison was born in Avalon, Catalina Island, CA and is best known for his role as “Dr. George Alonzo ‘Gonzo’ Gates” on the television series Trapper John, M.D. He played the role from 1979 to 1985.  Harrison starred in the made for TV movie For Ladies Only as a male stripper.  When he appeared in the television miniseries Fresno, a parody of prime time soap operas starring Carol Burnett, Harrison used his character “Torch” to spoof the role he played in For Ladies Only by appearing shirtless at every opportunity.  He has made guest appearances on many other television shows such as Sisters, Safe Harbor,  Ed, Judging Amy, Joey, and, most recently, One Tree Hill.
Gregory Harrison said:  “I didn’t study acting for nine years to become a hunk.”  Sorry Gregory, but it seems to have happened anyway.  And we are really glad it did!
